Bomb Sequence Generator
A MIDI sequencer built for the rhythmic complexity of dark techno, electro, and tech house. Per-lane arpeggiators, scale-aware randomization, probability-driven steps, MIDI export — everything you need to make sequences that feel alive.

Built for Groove
Intelligent Randomization
Scale-aware randomization generates musically coherent patterns with accent bias, velocity curves, ghost note probabilities, and microtiming humanisation. Not just random — random with intent.
Per-Lane Arpeggiator
Seven arp modes per lane — Up, Down, UpDown, Random, AsPlayed, Converge, and Diverge — each with independent rate division, octave range, and enable toggle. Polyrhythmic by design.
Lock & Evolve
Lock any lane while randomizing others. Freeze the kick, evolve the melody, keep the bassline. Build sets that grow organically without losing your foundational groove.
7 Arp Modes Per Lane
Up, Down, UpDown, Random, AsPlayed, Converge (outer→inner), and Diverge (inner→outer). Each lane runs its own arpeggiator independently at any rate division.
Per-Step Probability
Each step fires based on a user-defined probability — introducing controlled randomness without losing the groove. Set a step to 70% and let the sequence breathe.
MIDI Export
Export any pattern directly as a MIDI file and drag it into your DAW timeline. Capture a generated sequence you love and build on it in your project.
Rate Division Per Lane
Arp rate divisions of 4, 8, 16, and 32 per lane. Stack lanes at different rates to create polyrhythmic patterns that evolve over longer cycles.
Microtiming Humanisation
Randomization includes subtle microtiming offsets, ghost notes with low velocity, and accent bias so generated patterns feel performed rather than quantized.
Full State Serialization
All lane state — patterns, arp settings, lock states — serializes with your DAW project via XML. Open a session and everything is exactly where you left it.
Ill Bomb Branding
Designed and built in-house by the Ill Bomb team — the same label behind years of dark techno, electro, and tech house releases. The sequencer is a direct product of our own production sessions.
macOS Universal Binary
Universal build targeting both Apple Silicon (arm64) and Intel (x86_64). Single download, runs natively on any Mac made in the last decade.

Quick Start
Load: Add as a MIDI FX plugin on any MIDI track in your DAW — place it before your instrument.
Program: Enter notes into each lane. Set per-step probability and velocity to taste.
Arpeggiate: Enable the per-lane arp, pick a mode (try Converge or Diverge for something unexpected), set the rate.
Randomize: Hit Randomize on a lane to generate a scale-aware pattern. Lock lanes you want to keep, randomize the rest.
Export: Found something you love? Hit MIDI Export to save the pattern as a file and drag it into your timeline.
