Bomb Synth
A hybrid synthesizer combining wavetable, granular, and analog-modeled oscillators with a built-in step sequencer, deep modulation matrix, and full effects chain. Built from the inside of our own production process.

Three Engines. One Synth.
Wavetable
35+ banks including the full Echo Sound Works collection — 379 individual waveforms across analog, digital, vocal, spectral, FM, and more. Morph smoothly through frames in real time.
Granular
Position, density, spray, and size controls for textural pads, evolving atmospheres, and glitchy rhythmic material. Per-oscillator toggle between wavetable and granular modes.
Analog-Modeled
Sine, Saw, SuperSaw (7-voice unison), Square with pulse width, Triangle, SawTri blend, and Noise — all with PolyBLEP anti-aliasing for a clean, modern analog character.
9 Oscillator Engine Types
Wavetable, Granular, Sine, Saw, SuperSaw, Square, Triangle, SawTri, and Noise — selectable per oscillator with dedicated controls for each mode.
Deep Modulation Matrix
8 mod slots with LFO1, LFO2, Velocity, and Mod Wheel sources routing to 24 targets including per-oscillator Morph, Tune, Fine, Level, FM, and Detune.
6-Mode Filter Section
Ladder LP24, Ladder LP12, Ladder HP, State Variable LP, Formant (5 vowels), and Comb filter — with 2× oversampling on nonlinear stages.
Built-In Step Sequencer
Multi-lane sequencer with per-lane arpeggiator (7 modes), per-step probability and velocity, scale-aware randomization, and microtiming humanisation.
Spectral Warp Engine
Phase Bend, Smear, and Mirror modes reshape wavetable output at the oscillator level — from subtle harmonic texture to extreme digital destruction.
Full Effects Chain
Reverb, delay (manual ring buffer, 2s max), and drive — all with wet level control and full state serialization so your patches reload exactly as you left them.
16 Voices, Polyphonic
Up to 16 simultaneous voices with oldest-voice steal strategy. Per-oscillator octave control (±3 octaves) and independent FM routing between oscillators.
Wavetable Library
Runtime folder scanning loads custom WAV wavetables from ~/Library/Application Support/Bomb Synth/Wavetables/. Drag-and-drop your own folders to expand the library.

Wavetable Library
The included wavetable banks are installed automatically. To add your own, place WAV files in~/Library/Application Support/Bomb Synth/Wavetables/— one subfolder per bank. The plugin scans on startup.
Support Development
Bomb Synth is free and always will be. If it's been useful in your productions, a small donation helps keep development going — new features, wavetables, bug fixes, and more.
