Chicago-to-NC transplant Virulent returns from the void to Ill Bomb for his third outing on the label. “Manifestations” is quite literal in title; the work is an attempt to battle personal demons in raw, stripped down musical form. Presented are 3 austere techno tools that focus on hypnotic synths and driving grooves to capture the essences of their namesakes.
